Inspired by the simplicity of eastern aesthetics, Linda Hamilton’s design merges rich, natural materials into a contemporary lifestyle.  Frequent travel to distant lands; impel her to seek out the unusual and unexpected for her thoughtfully chosen collection of apparel, jewelry, furniture and accessories.  Beginning with a four-year study of art, architecture and interior architecture at the California College of the Arts, Linda Hamilton has tried on every hat imaginable from student and business owner to designer.

 

Nomad Chic is an evolving collection from around the globe specializing in small designers that you can’t find in stores; most of whom Linda knows personally. Most of these designers give back to their communities; by empowering the women/men of their particular town with job skills and income to support their families, or by protecting timeless traditions that could soon be lost. 

 

Today you can find Linda’s apparel collection “popping-up” at boutique hotels and other locations across the United States and Mexico. Perhaps in a fabulous hotel lobby, poolside or in her Moroccan tent filled to the brim with extraordinary apparel, jewelry and accessories. She has created a unique mobile shopping experience. Nomad Chic’s carefully curated merchandise is a combination of unique and limited edition creations by a host of international designers (which you will not find in other stores in the USA) along with Linda’s own jewelry and accessories collection.

 

Linda also produces fashion shows in order to best showcase her apparel line…Her biggest event is an annual fashion show in Todos Santos, called Noche de Moda, where she closes off the street in town and brings in a crowd of 300+ attendees. She is also a preferred vendor with Wine, Women & Shoes and pop-ups at various WWS events across the USA, as well as other fundraising groups.

 

Linda currently divides her time between Todos Santos, B.C.S. and Napa, California with her husband, Jack, and daughter, Audrey.  She imports a collection of eclectic apparel, jewelry, furniture and accessories from around the world, as well as taking on individual design clients in both the USA and Mexico.  Linda brings some of the best of Southeast Asia to Sonoma/Napa and Todos Santos, but if you prefer, she is also willing to take you there on a personal buying trip.
